Hi All,

I am on a 2.5 year spouse visa which is due to expire in December 2016.

My wife has just got her British passport this month.

She previously was earning nearly 22000 PA, but now she wants to study further so might go part time.

My question is if she does work part times starting July 2016 her salary would not be more than 7000 PA.

I work full time and my salary is more than 35000 PA.

Do we meet the financial requirement ?

We are confused as to if she should carry on working or start studying again .

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, as you only need to submit your income which comfortably beats the minimum income requirement. Once you are on spouse visa in UK, both your incomes count and if applicant's income alone is sufficient, that's fine.
